Consolidated Water Co. Ltd. (NASDAQ:CWCO)

Consolidated Water is one of my favorite companies in my favorite long-term theme -- water. The company designs, builds, and operates seawater desalination plants and water distribution systems to provide fresh water in parts of the world where it isn't otherwise available (i.e. the Caribbean islands). That wide-moat business, combined with the company's focus on growth and the stock's high yield, make CWCO one of my favorite picks for the long term. As fresh water continually becomes more and more scarce, CWCO has the expertise and experience to fill the void.

The honest truth is that when the Sec of State says water will be a key resourse in future conflicts. Its probbly a resourse worth getting while cheap. I like the numbers the company generates and the overall direction of the company. I am getting heavier in water plays, from munciplaites to providers, to people that clean the stuff for consuption, to bottlers selling the stuff. The dividend is solid. Add on top of that the price seems to keep going down, and you are adding to upside. I got in at 9 likeing, at 7 I love it, should it go below 6 I don't see how you lose.

Good dividend. Has the technology for expanding as water becomes more dear.

Desalination is going to be very important as we lose freshwater, i just found this stock and am monitoring it before i buy, which should be in about a week. When ir first found it, it rose 20% in the FIST 3 DAYS

Water and the lack of will be the key

Simply folks are underestimating the need for water infrastructure buildout/improvement in both the U.S. and globally.

Here's what it has going for it: water play, moderate dividend, small cap. I am green thumbing this so I will remember to research it further.

Monopoly on drinking water on some islands

Pros:
1) The stock has decent profit margins as well as operating margins.
2) YoY earnings growth looks good.
3) Liquidity ratios look good
4) Pays a small but relevant dividend of about 2%
5) Earning models put the expected price of the stock around $40

cons:
1) PE seems high
2) The stock has a lot of resistance around $20

As the world's clean water supply diminishes, desalination will become more and more important. Already needed in many dry climates like Las Vegas. Water is the new oil and any semblance of a good company in the water business should do well.
