The high dividend seems sustainable. Should be a nice, safe pick with decent performance, even with much price appreciation.

I bouht this Stock which is Dillard's Trust Account that pays 7.25% which was the best return on my money. I went in at $15.00 and sold 2 years ago at $25. I loved getting my check every quarter. I'm a little concerned about the current Dillard's Family vs the Board of Directors. I have been waiting for it to go down to buy in again but I didn't expect to see it this low.

Though its share price has sagged, in recent months prices have traded higher. Meanwhile, the company has focused on expanding its private-label offerings and exercising greater control of inventory.

Notable acquisitions include Dillards purchase of the Joseph Pfeifer Department Stores in Little Rock and Hot Springs in 1963 for a rumored $3.5 million, and its $2.9 billion buy of the 103-store, Fairfield, Ohio-based Mercantile Stores Co. in May 1998.
