Your time frame - A guideline for other members to see whether your thinking is short or long-term. Time frame is also used to calculate the stock rating, but is not used in the scoring of your pick.

Your pitch - Here's your chance to offer more detailed thoughts, analysis, concerns, or the rationale behind your call. The pitch is optional and may be added later.

company was $24 million in debt when former CEO was removed from the board. In April, 2007, less than 1 year later they were $5 million in debt. Would not be surprised if company is debt free.

In the interim, the Harbinger group has accumulated at least 15% of the company and is poised to take over the company.

I imagine the delay by Harbinger and making a takeover is because they are waiting for restated earnings and revenues for 2004 and 2005. However, company announced very good numbers for the last quarter and I believe the re-stated numbers are meaningless at this point

DHB Industries, a holding company, is a leader in protective armor, operating through two divisions DHB Armor Group and DHB Sports Group. The Armor Group manufactures and provides bullet and projectile-resistant garments, and fragmentation protective vests, slash and stab protective armor, and related ballistic accessories, which are used by US armed forces, security personnel and government agencies. The Sports Group manufactures and distributes protective athletic apparel and equipment like knee, ankle, elbow, wrist and back supports and braces for athletes and sports enthusiasts.

The US military today is required to act more quickly, battling a new kind of enemy called as terrorist. In response to specific threats, the U.S. government has been acquiring at an unprecedented rate armored up vehicles, aftermarket armor kits, combat helmets, and body armor.

Very recently it received orders of $ 82 million to supply US Army with the Deltoid Axillary Protection System (DAPS) and the Enhanced Side Ballistic Insert (ESBI). These orders have been awarded to one of its subsidiaries named Point Blank Body Armor. The company anticipates that the shipment for this new orders for DAPS, which is around $ 51 million, to be completed by October 2007. The majority of contracts have primarily come from US Army and this profile is expected to continue, and also the company has significant contracts in place from US Navy, and other local, state and federal law enforcement agencies. Long term investors can consider this stock for better returns.

My real life cost basis on this stock is ... well, let's just say that my initial position was a lot higher than my CAPS cost basis. However, I doubled down at the beginning of the year for a price of $3.00. Overall, I'm still under water, but my recent addition is doing quite well.
