There is great potential in this company due to it being the seventh fastest growing company in the world. With this company already having 1.5 billion customers and with the population standing at about 6 billion there is still lots of growth ahead for this company. The population of the world will only continue to grow therefore the share price of this company will only continue to go up.

Discovery is aggressively growing their international viewership, getting their programs and networks into homes in countries all over the world, and they can do it because the nature of their shows translates well everywhere. They are also pushing their on-line educational programming packages into schools.

I'm losing confidence in management. Their core channels are losing some of their brand identity. When the Science Channel starts showing reruns of the SciFi series "Firefly" I'm not sure that network management has its target audience defined very well.

I'll 'lemming' along here. Almost half of our Watch Instantly Queu are DISCK programs. My teen boys & friends have had many Mythbuster/Man vs. Wild/Mantracker marathon. I'll break the screen if I have to watch another America's Cutest Cat/Dog with pre-teen daughter. TLC shows & wife - 'nuf said. Even if cable disappears, DISCK has enough lasting quality content to entertain for generations. to come.
