This ETF provides an interesting twist on small cap investing. While most normally value small caps for growth, this fund's philosophy is that an ability to pay a dividend translates to some staying power. This may result in a less speculative array than one might find in a typical foreign small cap fund. The fund has some concentration is Japan (25%) and Australia (16%). The underlying companies seem to have reasonable metrics, despite the recent market run-up: price to book around 1.3x, price to CF of 6x (using Morningstar there), and a dividend yield around 4.5%.
