They have a reexam pending on their key drug Provenge (which they have not commented on). If Congress can't agree on some type of market exclusivity, they could have no market protection. They are consequently not a good acquisition target at this time despite popular sentiment.

Bet the wrong way on this one. Here's a good lesson for all of you...when it comes to small drug companies, most will fail because the drugs they are developing fail and they run out of money. However, those that actually survive long enough to bring a new drug to market have HUGE upside potential. I'm going to leave this pick open forever as a good reminder to me not to mess around with these things!

Nothing justifies a 100% gain in a single day (unless I missed a reverse split or somesuch in the news). This company has negative earnings, doesn't pay dividends, and probably is not going to become the next Merck, or Pfizer. Investing in this company is essentially gambling.

If the new drug doesn't pass all the muster necessary for a true 'boon' the buzz here is going to turn to a bust. I'm betting there is some 'looking for a silver lining' going on with this valuation. In caps I can be wrong and not 'pay' in real $$$. For real money, I'd wait another two weeks to a month before shorting 'for real' or letting this one pass as a missed boon.
