Provenge will gain approval in May due to need and the fact that it will pave the way for a new class of immunotherapeutic options for cancer and other immunocompromised patients. Also, Neuvenge, the company's drug in development, has had some very strong data so far.

Dendreon is a $1,000 pps Company fwd ten years if it manages to stay independent.
- Prostate cancer, now AIPC only but easily initially off-label other types of pc and then (after new trials) within label;
- breast cancer;
- colon et other cancers as we know;
- cassette technology easily scalable as soon as DNDN scientists find new, unique proteins expressed by cancers only.
All of the above in the USA and ROW --- China are 1.3 billion people, India are 1 billion, Europe and Japan together are like another USA market...
These days' stock price gyrations are almost meaningless if you think about it... since Provenge as we know proved itself...

For the most part has underperformed s&p since 2000. Negative net income 2004-2006. CEO says FDA results on Provenge, their prostate drug won't be out until next year.

Job cuts are not a positive sign for a company on the verge of FDA approval. Actually, to the contrary. It merely serves as a means to (temporarily) burn less cash, which remains inevitable in the longer-term. The message clearly and justifiably stated by the FDA is that any further progress, appreciable or otherwise, will be well into '07, if then. Until such time, this remains a $3 stock. As usual, investors will realize this over time as they did with Satellite. Radio.

Can't help but think of Sirius Radio, which ran on pure emotion & hype with no financial or substantiated results.
The FDA has spoken and justifiably so! However, in this case, there is alot more at stake and a much tougher road ahead!
We're talking well into next year with more substantial expenses and no guaranteess!
