The most important index we rarely hear about or see is the Baltic Dry Index, which measures ship utilitization. The index feel off a cliff in mid-2008 and has been drifting downward ever since. In addition, Dry Ships is domiciled in Greece and will suffer from Greek indebtedness.

This ship is handling the rough seas just as good as the rest of them. DRYS has a plan to lower debt. The Baltic Dry Index is increasing. OceanRig will soon be a cash cow. If you can stomach the risk, it's a steal in comparison to peers.

Up 42% on my investment since Oct 2011. The collapse of the Baltic Dry Index help drive volume and share price up significantly in Jan. The financial crisis with Greece is key, if they can get some financial stability then a much larger move up should happen.
