I am picking this and others so I can test some waters on the Fool first. I do feel that this is a good call considering that the div yield is solid and the upside has not been reached yet ( 14.25 I am thinking). Lets see who is the fool.

On Jan 15 09 DT closed @ 13.43, T closed @ 25.12 and VZ @ 29.90. Today Jan 15 10 DT closed @ 14.40, T closed @ 25.79, and VZ @ 30.58. A yr to yr gain of $ .97 for DT or .093 %, a gain of $ .67 or .025 % and VZ a gain of $.68 or .0215 %. Pay attention there are some big numbers coming. At Jan 15 10 close DT pays a 7% div, T pays 6.4 and VZ pays 6.1. Therefore DT is the clear winner in the race, you can almost own twice as many shares for the same investment just in case there is any share value appriciation. DT also has more potential for growth as it is in India and the Middle East. Where as T and VZ are for the most part fighting each other and Sprint and T-Mobil that is owned by DT. Since T-Mobil is the small player it has a lot less to loose. As the big guys say full disclosure here, I own all three so my bases are covered.

Everyone is too fixated on the big boys to do their homework here. PE in the 12's-better div than T and VZ, will merge with S and have volume and network.

Europeans love their phones. DT practically has a monopoly on the wireless service there. They are pretty big in the US too -- as T-Mobile. Great divident.

New 52 week low. High yield near 8%. Operates T-Mobil in US.

Deutsche Telekom is a leader in communications in Europe and the parent company of T-Mobile in the US. They are a stable company that has room for growth in the states.

DT is terribly undervalued. I believe the value of T-Mobile, USA is worth $30 it if were trading on it's own. As the market becomes more saturated and growth slows, I expect DT to look for other revenue generators. I have been expecting Comcast to come calling, because they need a wireless to bundle with their service to compete with the likes of the new AT&T. I am elated with the price progression over the past few months, and I think this rally has got real legs! The price plus quadruple volume is exciting. It is about time!

As for T-Mobile they are rated #1 for customer service by JD Powers. If customer service is great they gotta have a great company....well..thats what I think any.

T-Mobile will be bouncing back this year, since their customer service is top notch, and overall company goals are well invested, they are not looking like they are going down any time soon.
