At this point, the oil & gas services sector is beaten into the ground, just because oil has fallen to $90/bbl. It would have to fall to $40/bbl before these folks see even the slightest slowdown in activity.

DVR provides "services for marine oil drillers. It seems that in oil drilling business, the less there is oil left, the more drilling is needed to find the next well. Basicalliy that means, that DVR will have its work cut out as long as there is any marine drilling done or current wells being upkept.





I like stocks like this, the business is rather simple and the service provided makes sense and has a rational demand. The company is rather small, but as I hear, it is starting to get a solid reputation for being a reliable partner. Perhaps the company is a bit boring, but as the valuation is good, I see that this investment makes financial sense for me.
