For a ETF fund this is not only a good fund but pays a nice divdend

The only thing about this ETF that may not be reflected here is the lack of adding in the dividends, which, this is a dividend providing ETF, so the difference could be crucial.

Oh, and I like run-on sentences.

Retirement of the baby boomer generation will encourgage massive amounts of capital to find investments that offer income plus growth - DVY could well be a very signiifcant low cost vehicle -- allowing easy access to capital without cost and restrictions imposed by "similar" mutual funds. The 3.5% yiled is not optimum but the total return is attractive as lomg at the Tax on Dividends remains at 15%. The entire fund might suffer from headline news should the new congress press to undo the 2002 legislation.

Th is has the markings of a stategy that will beat the Dow 30 and dividend-stategy mutual funds because of a fee advantage.

Large stocks have been stagnant too long and are on an upswing, and dividend payers are often the best of the bunch. Add in low expenses for owning a number of good companies, and what's not to like?
