I bought some at $81.50 a couple days ago. This stock is so attractive because of its stability. It has been steadily rising since the dot-com crash. Their revenues/income have been growing over 60% a year. They are still buying back shares at these prices, so I assume that they expect continued appreciation in share price. I like the insider holdings of 45% also. Although I don't like tech much during these time, their service sector provides most of their revenues. Buy. Outperform. $$$

This stock according to Louis Navellier is a strong buy but I don't see it by the charts. The teach me to trade people give this stock the green thumb up score of 93. This stock in the technology sector reported that it's revenue for the end of December 2007 increased 46% to $42.8M and net income totaled $12.7M, up from $6M. The revenues reflected an increase in service segment and higher income from software licensing segment associated with long term contracts.

With health care industry projected to grow at a rapid pace, I see a strong growth in this company. Many of the Health care industry / hospitals require upgrades in their system.

Ebix just announced 3 contracts in their Infinity division that will add up to $18,000,000. in revenues over the next 2 years. This alone should translate to 25% top-line growth without any additional organic growth or acquisitions. The company had previously stated that they felt that they would be able to achieve $100,000,000. in revenue within 2 years (this was before these contracts). At $100 million in revenue, I believe that the company can earn somewhere close to $7.00 per share. What multiple would you pay for a company that had more than tripled revenue and earnings over 2 years?

Very, very thinly traded UP after a recent heavy interest purchase with an off shore hedge fund, sold directly at a big discount with new shares by EBIX.
First step in this fraud is to build some genuine volume with other people's money then the hedge fund dumps the stock and takes a big profit (no tax or regulatory over site being off shore)
Can you say the words "PUMP AND DUMP"
SHAME on the Motley Fool for playing the game!

I spoke to the CEO recently as he is the investor relations guy too. It looks like the company will continue to do acquisitions and grow its Infinity business. It could do $4+ of earnings in '08, which makes this 13x earnings and is growing every year and does not possess debt.

Lets take a look at the fundamentals. Over the past 4 years (from December 2006), Revenue growth has been a respectable 23%/year (annualized). Over the same period, operating income has risen an average of 70%/year. EBIT checks in at arount 83%, and net income 85%. Not only has Ebix successfully grown its business from a sales standpoint, but has become more efficient at running it.
Fundamentals for the TTM remain strong: Sales growth 43.1%, EPS 57.1%, ROIC 22.73%.
Despite having such strong fundamentals (and despite recent gains), with a P/E of 18.54, this stock is very reasonably priced.

fun and games are over in the insurance industry. small players will continue to buy ebix products in an effort to lower operating costs or go out of business.
Recs
a fast growing stock that still retains potential this late in its growth. It is steadily growing and will have no trouble retaining an increasing profit
Recs
One of those 'under the radar' stocks. Hidden gem?
Recs
Low p/e fast growing stock, with a small float due to large insider and institutional ownership (an insurancce company and an investment co) just being discovered by wall street. Growing by aquisition and internal means.
