This stock was once valued north of $120/share and received more than $100M from the Uncle Sam to build the electronic charging infrastructure for the US. In addition to building electric car charging stations throughout the US, Ecotality's "Minit" charger could be a game changer in the industry. Sears and Ecotality recently announced a partnership which seems to have stopped ECTY's freefall due to numerous CEO changes over the past four years and give it stability. It bottomed out at $.37/share and is now trading around the $1 mark. It seems as though this stock has turned the corner and could be poised for major gains as the demand for electric cars continues its rise.

Look, when it comes to infrastructure, supply drives demand. The auto industry was stagnant until the US Government funded the highway system via federal contracts. Today is no different. ECTY won the federal contract to supply charging stations across the US and they are the project manager, which gives them the advantage. In addition, they also have the CDMA network in place to capitalize on growth in the telecommunication industry. ECTY will be the front runner in the electric car race, but the question will be; will they win the race?

ECTY Appears to have the most viable business plan amongst green automotive companies. Their focus on Hydrogen Fuel Cells I find particularly worth looking at, not to mention their partnership with Nissan and federal grant money. I'd like to see them succeed even if I weren't a shareholder.

I bought stock in this company when it was 4 cents a share. This company has taken it's time and done it's research. Buy now and hold ! ECTY is also building the infrastructure for China's electric car's.
