The discount to NAV and the quality of the stock in this fund coupled with ridiculously low MER which has been lowered even lower recently in compassion of the investors for the hard 2008. WOW

This fund bounces as a result of our economy bouncing and visa versa. It is a lagging stock so it won't outperform the S&P 500.

This micro-cap fund (used to be The Germany Fund, thus all the German holdings) is a solid deal. Current P/B < 1. Good P/E and RoE, with other fundamentals performing averagely compared to other closed-end funds. EEA has started to look to Russia for new opportunities; of all the BRICs, Russia has had the least action so far (in part due to Putin and his cronies) but a few good bets could result in something great. Until then, EEA will hold up just fine.
