Evergreen Energy, Inc. (EEE)
The Company is leveraging a vertically integrated, coal-based platform to deliver combined energy, environmental and economic solutions, producing clean, efficient and affordable energy.

Ending EEE pick to get points and accuracy. I think it will pop back up above $1.50--I hope I remember to call it underperform again, then.

the technology to make coal burn clean.. what a concept

Although I think this company have every good intention in mind, they seem to lack a hands on research and development deparmentt that can troubleshoot unforseen problems and move forward with real progress. I think their competition might just be a little more organized. The early/tenacious bird will get the worm!

the world needs clean, efficient and affordable energy. The company's position is a difficult one to improve upon in the near term.
Recs
With the price of oil dropping, interest in alternative energy will also drop.

Great company that is in a much needed market in the US and the world for that fact. Will out perform until better solutions are discovered.

Our country needs this technology and the combination is shorting this stock in order to kill the technology but this can't last forever they will run out of money soon. To the people shorting this stock bad idea.

EEE is on the verge of getting major contracts from domestic and foreign countries to build new plants that will use their Clean Coal Technology (k-fuel). The K.fuel is a patented use of high sulphur coal that reduces the pollutents to a point where the coal is not only cleaner, but much less in cost.

OIL $170 buy fall, this idea seems a real solution to its degree of help.
Recs
Sumitomo Corp is invested in the project, HELLO
The K-fuel process reduces the moisture content of low-grade coals such as lignite and sub-bituminous from roughly 30 percent to 7.5 percent and boosts the heat value from 8,000 BTU per pound to as much as 11,000 BTU
Thats a 72% improvement in CHEAPER GRADE COAL. Equal comparisons would be
getting a 20MPG car and making a 27 MPG car.
Also, the other coal plants wont want to use the cheaper coals that are wet, they can get coal with 30% water and make it into 7% water content. These guys pressure steam the heat out making the coal very heat intensive.

EEE and BCON .......merger?
Recs
This company is on its way to BK with maybe a stop at the toxic finance booth.
It has been a miserable failure for almost 30 years. Management frequently issues promising sounding PR's which are almost always
groundless.
The demo plant they spent millions on a was a disaster and recently they shut that down. They never established a market for their k-fuel
product.
Other companies in and out of the US have moved past Evergreen/kfx in this secotor and there is likely no room for another player.
Bet best if you like this sector is buy tmen or bcon

EEE is a massive sleeping giant, in the days of high fuel costs, people tend to look towards not futuristic alternative fuels but to old "know" ways of energy. besides america still is one of the top producers of coal in the world.

Re-up
Original Post:
Evergreen and many other 'clean' companies such as solar companies remind me of the dot com bust. Yes there is a need for them and many will do well, but it's just too expensive too hyped and ripe for a correction.

It won't take much to get this stock moving in an upward direction. The ability to make coal burn cleaner and more efficient will help to increase the coal output of areas that can't mine coal due to high impurities.

Green energy is the power of the future, and companies that get in now have a much better chance of making huge profits down the road.

Over half the power in the US is coal based.
Coal produces bad emissions and is dirty.
Evergreen's coal additives reduce coal emissions by about 80%.
Over half of all states are adopting clean coal emission standards.
Asian countries are interesting in utilizing Evergreen's technology.
While coal is the energy of the past too much is in use and the power it supplies to the world is too crucial to ignore the fact that coal will be a primary energy source for the next 30 years. However, everyone will want clean coal additives and technology. Evergreen will be a part of that solution as states force coal plants to go clean. Even the DOE is onboard with Evergreen's technology and platform. Best of all, it doesn't require new technology but, just blending of product and coal. It is not the solution of 2030 but, it is one of many solutions of the next decade or two.
