A premier emerging market ETF that I think will outperform the market over the next year or two.

Sector bet. I like emerging markets more than the S&P. Solid companies/ETFs at the right time is the key to long term investing. That's what I like to focus on in my newsletter.

Did a screen for small caps with five stars, minimum 50 active CAPS picks, maximum 3 Wall Street picks, maximum 20% institutional ownership, maximum 15 P/E, and minimum 5% div yield.

This stock focuses on markets in developing countries, of which there are many, so I think it's a good choice for the next few years...

The markets this fund reflects should easily beat our indexes over the next year or two. I also like the management (they understand how to limit risk better than most).

Another offshore hedge. Very low P/E (what does that mean with funds?) High growth and high dividends. Whipped the US indexes by 15-50% for 2007.

As long as the world economy remains strong, EMF will outperform, even as growth slows.

Has one of the best managers out there and pays a nice dividend.

Yes, emerging markets will correct. Don't get high on what everyone else is puffing. The problem for us super long term investors is that waiting for the drop sounds suspiciously like market timing. Sure emerging markets could drop 30% sometime, but what if that happens after a 100% run up ? You certainly bought in at a good price, but mine would be better in that scenario. If you know what you're buying and you've done research until you are blue in the face. Buy it and don't sell it when you get whacked with that 30% hammer, buy more.
