can 30 stocks randomly picked from a bag of scrabble tiles beat the market? there's only one way to find out.

High yield strategy: TMFHighYield says to look for "high dividend payers from the S&P 500 from diverse sectors, relatively low debt, and a history of increasing dividend payments." This is my utilities pick.

Growth in South American region plus the huge dividend should boost this stock regardless of many market conditions.

This company shows a promising future. Its gross and net margins are outstanding. They provide electricity and other things to developing economies like Peru and Brazil. Demand in those countries has been increasing tremendously and won't slow down for at least a couple of years, based on market predictions. The very conservative EPV of this stock is $39 (subtracting full capex and estimating 12% CC). This company has a lot of potential and I see it going very far.

Country set for stable growth

I believe companies from utility sector with solid financials will overperform.

company is well positioned.

Hurt by the earthquake in Chile, near term looks questionable, but long term solid pick in an expanding economy.

Brazilian Electrical Company. Heavy gov't subsidies coupled along with strong growth in brazil, should keep this stock humming along

South America is developing...and Brazil is gearing up for the Olympics. This company should prosper over that time. Go, Brazil!

Enersis is positioned to power the South American economic awakening. It may change form in the future. i.e. Divide into smaller companies and remerge into new entities but unless the powers that be decide the stock holders of the original utility should not participate in this growth and metamorphos, it should be a profitable ride. I am looking forward to a return of larger dividends as well. I hope, I hope, I hope!

I was looking at this and i like it as it does business in south america and operates green facilitites at margins (i think). Now i believe we can see a trend developing favoring the plays in emerging markets but its possible this is going to be a short term play for me as any sensitivity to the current market runup (correction to overcorrection) is going to be extreemely painful for those of us with early entries into materials and energy distribution.
Eni may be able to overcome some of this as it serves the community as well as industry;
