Enphase is dominating the micro-inverter market which is growing faster than the solar market which it serves. I've owned a solar system with Enphase micro-inverters since 2009, and I would recommend them to anyone considering solar. The conventional string inverters are losing out to micro-inverters. Enphase is way ahead of the competition in terms of reliability (their units have a 25 year warranty!), and the installers prefer them. The stock hasn't done much since its IPO in 2012, but I think the short sellers have held it back. That could change in a hurry when Enphase turns a profit.

Enphase Energy is the world's leading designer, manufacturer and purveyor of solar system microinverters that are part of a total package that includes an advanced maintenance and energy efficiency intelligence software and communications system. This integrated technology enables both residential and commercial solar energy systems to be operated with overall optimal efficiency by harvesting, collecting and converting the solar produced energy at the individual solar panel level -- while concurrently monitoring the condition and production performance of those individual panel components.

A company with a good product in the solar industry and has excellent support as they are moving their product world wide in shipping. Although they are new IPO's mid 2012 at 8 bucks they are now poised to grow as they now have coverage in EU and Pac Rim placing new orders.

Company's inverters used by Buffett's Mid-American Energy solar division, so it caught my eye.

What a wild ride this will be!

The maker of microinverters has taken a hit following its IPO lock-up expiration. As long as the growth continues, it should do well going forward.

Ehphase is way ahead of the curve compared to other solar inverter manufacturers. They pioneered the microinverter system architecture and have developed a strong, reliable product. Microinverters are the future of PV systems, and Enphase is preparing itself for the long-haul.
