Energy storage is as important as energy generation, particularly with regards to the solar industry. ENS is the leader and has a steady performance. I can only see this continuing.

Was looking at batteries as cars will need them, and we are a total portable civilization. P/E 16, a little low for what I look for with a forward P/E of 13 which is even worse but... civilization needs batteries. The volatility of the company is showing very few dips below the 50 day moving average with a steady rise in stock price all year(2013). Maybe be time to step in for a future profit as the need may outweigh stats.

With the increasing demand for electricity and the need to increase energy efficiency battery companies should do well.

Two words plug-in hybrids; all of the big auto makers are planning on unveiling a plug-in hybrid car in the next year. With dwindling oil supplies battery technology is going to be a critical industry in our greener future and this company is well positioned to profit from the growth in this sector.

Enersys is finishing up on restructuring which will save them much needed cash. The company is well positioned and although the demand for their batteries will decrease, they will still be widely needed. But the big bonanza will come with the stimulus money. There is an extraordinary amount of money designated for battery R & D and being the US's largest battery company, Enersys stands to be the biggest recipient. I think this company is a strong buy, especially at the current prices.
