Solar will provide a huge part of our energy needs in the near future. Two new factories being built. ESLR will keep up with the increasing demand for their products.

Obama promised to look after small business and pump gross amounts into green. Company has had trouble posting profits in the past. Look for that to change going forward. Just launched a new line of Solar panels for the off-grid in sept. 09 and already seting up shop in china putting together deals looking to get in on asian markets with it's foot in china's door. One such deal being for a 500-MW project. Going forward company's chances look pretty good and may have the wind at it's back. Could finally pull it together and skyrocket from this penny range showing major profits in the future. For sure one to watch!

Even though Analyst seem to think ESLR has lost its advantage with costs saved on the silicon manufacturing process I beg to differ.
In the event the government decides to start purchasing solar alternatives for its energy infrastructure. They will undoubtedly go with the manufacturer that can produce at the lowest cost possible through competitive bidding. If Evergreen can make it cheaper no matter how slight the advantage. They will win out in the competitive government bidding process. This slight advantage will ensure they come out a winner over their industrial rivals.

will rebound from all time low..whatever can go wrong has went wrong for ESLR. Its focusssing on makeing wafers with less silicon and will have the competitive edge when the infrastrusture money kicks in. Definite buy at 1.66

I know people like STP way better, but Evergreen has a lot of room to grow. They are building solar plants now, and once those are producing, this stock is going to soar.

The people at S&P have a lot of hope for Evergreen -- it has a 5-star rating and a 12-month target price of $16, as well as expectations for continued growth through the next few years.

Hopefully it won't take two to four years for folks to wake up. We need alternative energy and we need it NOW! This seems to be a well-thought out and expertly run company.

Now that the market downturn is eliminating quite a bit of speculation from market pricing and the Obama administration starting to talk about investing in the green economy as part of the strategy to restart the economy (think CCC & WPA and the great depression) and US based companies like FSLR, SPWR and ESLR look very attractive for the two to four year time frame.

MY gut says Obama and his cabinet really will pursue alternative energy. In fact, I'm already betting on it with other companies. This one has a great entry price point at $3.43. At 1/5 off it's 52 week high it satisfies one of my current criteria. Terrible financials right now of course but from what I can tell nothing changed but the price of gas and I'm also betting that isn't going to stay this low. it's a leap of faith-"Yes we can" :)

It pains me to rate this one underperform. I'd really like to see solar power take off, but for the sake of my CAPS rating I'll go with reality instead of wishful thinking.

A green play that has a unique ribbon chip it produces that requires less silicon then traditional solar chips, which could be important if silicon becomes more scarce...probably more volatile in the short term but long term if congress keeps thinking about solar this could be a high growth pick

ESLR is a HUGE buy below the $2 mark. Ratings downgrade already priced in. Expect at least $5 by fall after completion of several expansion projects that are scheduled to finish within 6 months. Expect big things in 2-4 years.
