Solid, conservative bank with a very good share of local lending market. Very little - or no exposure to sub-prime mortgages. Bank's service area is close to New York City and northern New Jersey and is growing in population.

The Company provides financial services to individuals, families and businesses through its 13 full-service banking offices. ESSA Bank & TrustGÇÖs business consists primarily of accepting deposits from the general public and investing those deposits, together with funds generated from operations and borrowings, in residential first mortgage loans, including construction mortgage loans, commercial real estate, home equity loans and lines of credit, commercial and consumer loans.
