Forced evolution through a natural disaster will emerge leaner and meaner. Managment is loaded with talent. The entergy team could out-perform the S&P selling ice boxes to eskimos. The only thorn in side is industry wide issues related to pensions.

It is strong in nuclear power which it can produce cheaply. I think there is a future for nuclear, and the government and even some enviornmentalists support it as being non-polluting.

Also, good dividend yield means one will get a good return on ETR regardless of blips in the market.

Excess electricity and nuclear power give ETR the advantage over oil/coal based cost fluctuations.

These guys are strong because they have baught up a bunch of nuclear plants at a time that I think will prove a good time to be in the nuclear utilities business. In our drive for reliable sources of clean, renewable energy, (post heating oil and natural gas depletion) nuclear energy will play a vital role to keep us in motion.

As primarily a nuclear power generator they will not be as affected by by petroleum/natural gas price increases which will continue.
