Electric vehicles are fine conceptually, and there are some really nice hybrid models coming out from the major auto manufacturers. However, that said, I'm not really sure how much demand there is for AFTERMARKET hybrids or pure-electric conversion… More

Electric vehicles are fine conceptually, and there are some really nice hybrid models coming out from the major auto manufacturers. However, that said, I'm not really sure how much demand there is for AFTERMARKET hybrids or pure-electric conversion vehicles. Which would you rather have, a $65,000 hybrid Mini Cooper (an unmodified loaded new Mini with a gas engine is under $30k) that has been modified and retrofitted by a third party, or a brand new $25,000 Toyota Prius with OEM hybrid parts? What are you going to do when your ultra-modified chop-shop aftermarket hybrid car needs to be serviced?

Also they own a VOIP company. That's a red flag right there.
