Need for alternate energy

Electric vehicles are fine conceptually, and there are some really nice hybrid models coming out from the major auto manufacturers. However, that said, I'm not really sure how much demand there is for AFTERMARKET hybrids or pure-electric conversion vehicles. Which would you rather have, a $65,000 hybrid Mini Cooper (an unmodified loaded new Mini with a gas engine is under $30k) that has been modified and retrofitted by a third party, or a brand new $25,000 Toyota Prius with OEM hybrid parts? What are you going to do when your ultra-modified chop-shop aftermarket hybrid car needs to be serviced?

Also they own a VOIP company. That's a red flag right there.

Okay, where do I begin...
a) regardless of what you think of the ideas OR the technology behind this group one thing impresses me
b) their ability to sell the ideas are even more impressive, given the Mini coming down the pipeline - people LOVE that little car!
c) at this price, what have I got to loose?
(Okay, there's the tech analysis... now on to the emotional... just kidding...) I just really think there is a future here because there are intra and inter industry relationships attached to these guys that other companies either don't have or aren't showing to the public yet. ((I am actually LONG on something this month!!!)) You GOTTA know the press and 'relationships' the thing about these guys when they're delivering special autos to the 'friend of all lib... -i'm not going there...--' G. Clooney, I'm mean, these guys have ties to money and press... a true hollywood story! AAwwwwwwhhhh... Yikes, maybe I really should short this bunch... next month.

95%(est) or more of annual travel is commuter travel. Electric cars will take over as the commuter vehicle. This company will be the leader in the market because of their superior technology. They already have alliances with several of the major automobile manufacturers. If they don't make it on their own, they are a good takeover candidate.

There is also a lot of political backing and backing from Hollywood. If you read all the Hype from Hype Technology. I say that tongue in cheek reaaly. What else is a company going to do that's trying to break into the automobile market. They need financial support from their shareholders and people that believe in the concept. That's what stock is all about. Raise money.

Don't quite understand the company, this pick may end as quick as it started. However the company just doesnt seem to have away to get themselves out of what they acknowledge as increasing debt. I don't like where they seem to be headed. Which, to me at least, is down.

So far exceeding my expectations to underperform and score me points.

My favorite line from the half-page ad in the LA Times sports section:

Also, "You will appreciated the fact this corporation offers some guilt-free, green investing. As an investor you may actually adopt a role in improving the world around you."

The odds are very much against this particular company, which is focused on stock promotion, being part of an electric car revolution even assuming it will occur.

Negative net income. Very little information. Always leery when companies don't provide basic statistical info. And if anyone is going to win at the hybrid market ... it's Toyota.

It's the laughingstock of the renewable energy industry... no pun intended.

Company (if it can call itself that) is an absolute joke, little more than a stock scam. Talks a big game, but CEO used to run a laundrette! Stock splits and reverse splits many times to manufacture what looks like value to any fools (not capitalized!). Pays dividends by issuing more worthless stock. Good grief, it's awful.

How does VOIP have anything to do with electric cars?

There company won't exist in 3 years.

Ahead of their time, and majority counts.

Electric cars and VOIP! Neither will make $$ near term. Based in Vegas - yep, this co. is a gamble.
