I don't know. Many people around me are not buying Japanese goods because of the nuclear radioactive scare. What makes you guys think that this index will go up? Even electronics are suffering due to cheap products from Taiwan/China.

It might sound cold, but rebuilding after the tsunami means lots of opportunity to modernize and streamline. And right now, the strike is just pennies from the Tsunami. Seems like a decent play to me, if you're looking for somewhere relatively stable to stash away some cash that's laying around doing nothing for you.

The earth quack, tsunami, and subsequent nuclear crisis hurt the Japanese economy. However, it hurt the Japanese stock market even more. I do not know much about Japanese economies. However, this index stock for the Japanese economy is a good bet.

Buy this hysteria. Japan is still the 3rd largest economy in the world. Your bravery now will end up making you very rich in 5 years.

According to George Friedman this is a company with great fundamentals but lousy management. Everyone hates the Japanese economy right now, but it has had a blistering 2010 because things will pick up as the Yen crashes, which it is looking increasingly likely.

Japan has been had a couple decades of stagnant growth, and likely will have another decade or more of the same. From what I have seen, Japan's economic policies are not likely to change significantly in the short term.

This is a quality Japanese Index. Japan will get some of the growth of the international market with more stability than other international investments

Simple Math: The yen is high, allowing Japanese companies to buy cheap worldwide assetts for relatively less money. This will translate to low-risk leverage in the coming years. The world may well experience "Japanese Sickness." Well, Japan is recovering while the rest of us are coming down with it. I'd rather be them right now.
