They are attempting to acquire NRG Energies aggressively. They will probably do so. Good acquisition, will see gains from developments from it.

Recs
This company is looking for many opportunities for growth both in terms of technology and market share. Look for Exelon to pursue merger opportunities expecially where they can make an acquisition outside of the regulated transmission entities.

This Stock is currently richly priced, so I will wait for a pull back to around $60 before investing in EXC.
Recs
Very sound company. Operates with a ~15% profit margin. Very decent yield at 4.52%. The share prices will react mostly in sync with the S&P, however, I believe that the drops won't be as harsh and the ups with be a little more significant than the S&P.
Recs
Domestic utility with exposure to natural gas and nuclear power generation.
Recs
Stock price down about 50% in the past year. Has cut greenhouse gases by 35% which should help when cap & trade is in effect. Existing nuclear plants give them a leg up in power production. Lots of cash gives them flexibility. Current P/E 11.50 compares to 5 year ave around 22. Dividend 4.39.
