One of the love it or hate it stocks, I owned it, lost on it, and don't trust Mgmt.

This is my bet that FARO management will continue to out-bribe the competition.

Additionally, FARO management has done an excellent job establishing a strong competitive advantage over the common shareholder.

Also, how many more mountains can there possibly be to crash into?

I'm still underwater, and sold some, but this will make it unless patent suit is lost; don't think it will be

A company with a solid product line in a position to "do things right" after a number of stumbles have beaten the stock of a good company down. Investments in sales force development and R&D postion FARO to have above average returns in the next 3 years or so.....as long as there is no quick sand in the path.

They are players in the 3-d cloud point scanning industry, this market will be exploding (on a small scale) as goverments, institutions, and companies need assets scanned and inventoried. Every street, highway, intersection, gove buildings will be scanned by a goverment entity in the next 5 years

Patebt litigation may be resoved soon and future demand for quality manufacturing practices should support above average growth

The march toward greater precision is on: Process Control is key. This company can succeed despite itself.

Have to give credit, where credit is due. Platoish's pitch on FARO got me to go back and look at it. I was in FARO from the day of its initial Hidden Gem pick by TomG. I really liked the company, but agreed that it had become a mess and dropped out of it at around $20 (actually made a little money). At its current price, I see it trading at a nice discount and believe that it has potential to be a 5 year big-time winner.

This is the classic tarnished Gem. From flagship of the service to whipping boy. Out with the old and in with the new. Definitely a turnaround play. They have an outstanding product line in an emerging technology market. Room for great growth over the next decade. A seemingly unending string of operational missteps have hammered the stock price. They have recently put things right with their SEC filings and the analyst upgrades have begun. It will be slow treading for at least another year as FARO climbs the wall of worry. Their recent investments in R&D and in a greatly expanded sales force should produce good results by 2007. My belief is still that this was a classic example of a small company confronting an exploding market without a management team in place with the skills and capabilities to handle and control the growth. New blood seems to be getting the operational ducks lined up and we'll see how it goes.

This company has had its stock beaten down by numerous missteps by management. Look for it to rebound with the new CEO at the helm and rapid sales growth continuing.

Developer of Computer Assisted Measurement tools and software. Undervalued after management transition and routine Intellectual Property suits.

Much manipulated by shorts, arbs, hedge funds, but the underlying business will ultimately triumph.

This once high-flying company may have been caught with their hand in the cookie jar and even giving a few cookies to select clients. If so, the stock may still lag for a while. Managers can be changed. Until this issue is settled, expect volatility. Once resolved, though, the absolute dazziling growth rate of the industry will propel FARO to greater heights.
