Leadership is incompetent - Dismissal of the Sr lender was TEN years overdue. They are totally OUT of M&A - terrible stock price and the feds no longer see them as a partner in assisyed transactions. JUNK JUNK JUNK

large enough to take advantage of market opportunities that are unavailable to smaller community banks. The smaller rural markets of their coverage sphere will not be as severely impacted by general economic slowdowns that may continue over the short-term and so their general competitive advantages will allow them to excel in a sub-market that should outperform the general market.

There is just something sketchy about their balance sheet. I don't like all those highly liquid demand deposit liabilities. Their asset portfolio is not that great either. Goodwill is quote optimistic, their earnings are treading on thin ice. Unless we see a bottom in home prices (Which I don't think is gonna happen), these guys might have to write off some of the HELOC loans.
