AMG purchase - loan workouts. Buy for 10% on the dollar and sell for 60%. Funds were nearing high watermarks last quarter and will be over this quarter.

Once current assets get priced at "real" value, FIG cleans up big time.

Okay Fortress has struggled and has hit the canvas hard like most of its counter parts. However, FIG might be down, but it's definitely not out.

Tons of deal out there to make money. They just raised new cash and will be throwing off cash in terms of fees.

Fotress will convince a bunch of investors that this plan has a lot of upside and very little downside.
Raise $50b.
Collect 2% mgmt fee ( = $1B). Then who cares what happens to the assets.
FIG managers can retire comfortably.
They just made an easy $1B.
If FIG investors end up losing money, blame the government.
