Very reputable engineering and project firm. Will do well under infrastructure spending in US, China, or India. has a large cash stock-pile. Will buy up quality in its sector and come out of this downturn as a powerhouse in the construction industry.

Obama is going to take the worthless paper off the banks balance sheets and put them on to yours. Expect to see a big rally in the market that could last several months.

Excellent global engineering and construction fi rm; 32% growth 1st qtr, gov projects worldwide, 50% of business comes from oil and gas but also active in gaining a strong foothold in alternative energy. I really like their long term potential as a leader in global construction.

Minus $2billion in net cash, the company sell for about $4.2B, the company sells for about 10x FCF. Recent drop in backlog shouldn't be too worrisome, since management has proven itself to successfully navigate this recession.

Call me optimistic, but somehow I don't think everyone in the world has suddenly stopped building things. Fluor is an outperform even without the Obama infrastructure story. Earnings and cash flow growth have been consistently strong, even through 2008, and they're sitting on over a billion and a half in cash, with little debt. There's still plenty of upside here.
