Remember Frontier Insurance Company? Do your research and compare. It is tough to believe underwriting results at 85% when the rest of the market operates at 100 or 100+

You shouldn't be investing in a long tail casualty insurer unless you know how to read a "Schedule P" in a statutory annual statement.Also, you need to understand how prices are being slashed on casualty insurance policies. FMR's business model depends on its loss ratio always being far below the industry average so that large commissions can be extracted for its MGA. So, the question is, "How can a small casualty carrier maintain adequate reserves while rates are being cut and still produce low loss ratios?"
