Ok, now the DIV now equals 10 year treasury notes! CHina is working very hard to decouple themselves from the US economy and are perfectly willing to take brutal economic steps to do so. The dollar is only going down, even if the Chinese don't dump US bonds, this is only going up.

China or India; which is going to do better? I couldn't answer this question and so bought fni which is an etf for both with low fees. Both exchanges have lost a lot of value lately, so this may be a very good time to buy and hold. I see this story continuing for another 5 years.

I searched on Morningstar for some good BRIC ETFs and found this puppy that represents half of the hot BRIC, sounds convincing to me that this is a solid play. I like the idea of the ETFs for the volatile BRIC region to get at least a little stability. If the China bubble bursts a bit, at least the India portion can soften the blow.
