Frontier economies? Those are considered one notch below emerging market economies. You might think that they are really risky; perhaps they might be, but this ETF is anything but.
The top 3 holdings: Chile = 33%, Colombia = 14%, Egypt = 13%, Argentina = 8%, hardly economic backwaters.
The one fly in the ointment: Financials are 33% of the holdings. If the PIIGS contagion spreads to S America, this ETF will be in for a world of hurt.
My thanks to the Fool article pointing out this stock to me. I had no idea: apparently, this ETF is really new.

Frontier Markets.....the next emerging markets....I don't like the >2% expense, but it will have to do until Vanguard starts a Frontier Markets fund.
