I believe the US dollar is overheated and will fall against many other 1st world currencies. How far is debatable but certainly the USD has enjoyed surprising strength and seems overbought to me. The AUD is a good bet as it follows global commodity… More

No, not really. What incentive does the national/central bank have to lower currency value? Not CPI/inflation, which needs to be better controlled: http://www.abs.gov.au/ausstats/abs%40.nsf/mf/6401.0

A resource based economies currency should benefit when compared to other currencies of non-resource based nations.

AUD is strong
USD is weak

So long as the bulk of the credit crisis is over this pick should do well.
