shorting all overvalued gold stocks i can put my hands on. typically usually after bullish gold run february is the worst month for them. overvalued and seems to hit a break...thumbs down for all gold stocks for the next few weeks

As much as I like this stock, it is an underperformer. I've owned them since before they opened their Hollister mine which is now producing gold. I like that they bought the Esmerelda mill to do onsite processing. They have made a lot of progress in their efforts to open their African mine. They have cash. But alas, they continue to underperform.

With the tremendous amount of liquidity flooding the financial markets through central bank actions over the past three quarters, gold has effectively become the third reserve currency, as investors seek to hedge positions in ever-more-volatile governmental currencies. With inflation an underlying result of rapid money supply expansion, gold may well top $1200/oz by YE 2009.

When things turn around it will be a result of the governments around the world having pumped money of all kinds into the system. This will cause a surge in inflation as economies start to tick up. That's why I've been and continue to be bullish on precious metals and the miners of said metals. Really, anything that is sensitive to inflation is a good place to be.

The armageddon nuts and gold bugs always think that gold is the place to be, but in this case that does not mean they are wrong.

You can blame TMFBreakerDave for me adding pitches to so many of my picks.
