We'll see what happens with banking, but GDOT serves an underbanked and unbanked populace. Their fees are easy to understand, not exorbitant compared to credit cards, and help people make purchases easily if they've had credit history problems. Solid income growth with a stable balance sheet. Only putting a year on this one, as banking may change drastically with interest rates, regulations, and legislation.

taking a chance still alot of cards in america lacking the wifi swipe-less system if prepaid cards can do it faster could work out but still the infrastructure supporting this system is lagging but flourishing in asia
or who knows maybe america caught up now haven't been there awhile

Everyone is issuing prepaid cards these days, for refunds, for gift cards, etc. Even though things aren't looking good now, this is going to be huge.

What this company has laid the blueprint for is simply brilliant. It is a checking account (complete with routing abilities) gaining 0% interest for the customer. They have partnered with PayPal as their quickest funding option. $4.95 to have your new have-to have item ordered 5 min after stopping by the corner store. With a mass population living check-to-check, this market currently very untapped in my view.

People are moving away from credit cards all together and are attempting to be debt free. This prepaid card provider allows individuals you direct deposit paychecks directly onto their cards without any credit check. For those people that went through bankruptcies or foreclosures now they do not need to be approved by a bank to open an account that will allow them to apy bills online and cary a card instead of cash.

This business has strong nitche that will likely not attract a large amount of competition until a technology obsoletes plastic transactions.
