There's nothing particularly exciting in GDV's return but it certainly does what it sets out to do. The recent shrinking of the discount to NAV has helped current holders but it won't persist and it mostly means that you'll get a bit less of a bargain if you're just now buying. The risk/return will stay low/average. Buy it? Your call. Since it's a stabilizing influence in my portfolio and I'm semi-retired, I'm holding what I have
