The world, especially the US, has set the world on the road to inflation. While they could do everything right from here to mitigate it, I don't see policy yet, to do that. The result if the world governments don't act soon is inflation and higher gold.

Gold mining stocks look severely overvalued to me.

Ignore the gold bugs. They've been out in full force all year long and gold is still only around $1000 - $1100/oz right now.

I don't know the future direction of gold, but I see no evidence to suggest the gold miners should be selling at the insane multiples they sell at.
