Price too hot for cash flow and weakening balance sheets are sell signs.

I have been leery of this company because of its exposure to the oil industry, but its exposure is not in rigs, off-shore drilling, or fracking. It's in refineries. The oil comes regardless, and it needs to be refined. Refineries are running at 95-97% utilization. GHM will benefit whether money is spent maintaining them or building out new ones. The CEO said in the last conference call, "We have the view that they can't run that hard forever...ongoing investment has to be made to keep these facilities running and then secondarily, there is global energy demand growth." The company works more than refineries, too, so risk is mitigated.

The current ratio is well above 4.The balance sheet is a fortress. The company has no debt. Management is upbeat about future growth. It's looking for acquisitions, but is being choosy. A buyback is in place. Insiders continue to buy. It pays a dividend.

The price is at a 2.5 year low, and is half of what it was less than a year ago

I suspect that all it will take is a catalyst to make the price shoot up. I added this stock to a personal portfolio on November 24th, below 18.

Still a lot of energy infrastructure expansion ahead of us.
