GMXR - The stock is highly levered to Natural Gas, yet is vastly expanding its oil production in stride with its larger older brother SandRidge. With vast Reserves right in the heart of the Bakken, and production ramping up, GMXR represents a great takeover play, as well as a cheap way to get exposure in the oversold natural gas arena.

Like SD, I expect GMXR to make a 2x move north in the coming 18-24 months. A great place to put some speculative money to work, in my opinion.

Watch out. The technicals are looking like this could have a big pop in the near future. Fundamentals in the energy space may give it an extra boost as well.

Possible turnaround story.

Stock I owned and sold in the past. They are drilling and produceing in my area and I believe the price of natural gas will rebound in time. Don't own yet but plan on buying again in the next 2 weeks.

They are managing to reduce cost by doing more with less , this one is a slow cooker but will be worth the wait

Currently, we have a huge natural gas excess supply and a crappy economy, but I think over the long term natural gas will play a bigger role. GMXR is cheap and small so I am hoping one of the bigger players is willing to buy it soon while natural gas prices are still dirt cheap. Personally, I have been reducing my cost basis a lot recently :)

Simply Oversold.

GMX Resources has amassed a body of assets that give it a solid competitive moat for at least the next few years. Trading at a discount to these assets which can produce long-term earnings potential, GMX Resources is a great value. Add in a decent balance sheet, solid cash flow, lots of insider buying, and bullish options sentiment, and you have a great buy.

stk was gangbusters before recession. prodctn was doubling each yr from a small base point. that was even before massive Haynesville wells. now has more reserves & prdctn than before when price was $30 +. the mrkt just can't shake this recession and d.c. demo wasting/taxing policies.
