+ Watch GOGO
on My Watchlist
WLAN on airplanes. Today a rare occurance. In the future nothing special, GOGO dellivers the technique.
The future in the sky. Has many companies already signed up. Tough to get into the industry with the tech needed. Head start on the competition
Having internet aboard flights would be awesome as long as my fellow passengers don't make any phone calls
it will show earning soon
Increased internet use with airlines
buying more once it goes down to $22 and will be 40 by next earning release
IPOed in June, rapidly increasing revenue and on the track to profitability. Will benefit from regulation changes allowing wireless device use during takeoff and landing.
GREAT GROWTH AHEAD.
As the Twitter and Facebook generation travels more, in-flight WIFI has become a necessity. With a major piece of market share, this seemed an easy pick.
Because it has a future and a monopoly of sort.
This is the only company has what customers demand-Wi-Fi. Besides a smartphone, there is really no other way to have Wi-Fi at 40,000 feet. I have used this service and it works very well. As more demanding people fly this upcoming holiday season, the more they are going to want to stay connected. Too bad for them, good for us
A growing industry that has lagged behind access in every other sector.
Having the concession on wi-fi on planes is a captured market often paid by the employer. Even children will likely be indulged and then there's the last minute insecurity about vacations. Do I really want to go to place or place B. in addition to first mover advantage after GOGO charges you for access they can use the date to negotiate higher cost per click if you bought anything and then turn around and sell your data for targeted marketing.
Leading player in a fast moving sector with large customer base already confirmed
Wireless air internet is in it's infancy. Flying is miserable enough, I believe it will become popular once the content speeds are increased to allow for streaming.
