Leasing to a place that never runs out of money...pretty good business model if I do say so myself. I'd put maybe 1.5-2% in here.

Leases office space to the government, the government never runs out of money (just raises taxes). And Government Properties pays a big dividend (7.9%). Sounds like a winner!

Great long term growth prospects

Government Properties (GOV) gathers deposits from the general public within its market area and invests those deposits primarily in loans, debt obligations issued by the U.S. Government and its agencies, and mortgaged-backed securities. The Company was formed to invest in properties that are leased to government tenants. The Company is a subsidiary of HRPT Properties Trust (HRPT). The few analysts that follow it seem not to like it.

Nearly 7% yeild, no debt, tmfdeej said it all in his rec. Would love to see it make a move lower in the short-run.

Giving the increasing reach of the government, this service corp will probably see some modest gains.

Little debt and a decent dividend. Rock solid customer (I mean they can print as much money as they want to pay their rent). I like it.
