Goodrich Corporation supplies aerospace components, systems, and services worldwide. It operates in three segments: Actuation and Landing Systems, Nacelles and Interior Systems, and Electronic Systems. The Actuation and Landing Systems segment provides systems, components, and related services pertaining to aircraft taxi, take-off, flight control, landing and stopping, and engine components, including fuel delivery systems and rotating assemblies. The Nacelles and Interior Systems segment produces nacelles, as well as provides maintenance, and repair and overhaul services associated with aircraft engines, including thrust reversers, cowlings, nozzles and their components, and aircraft interior products, such as slides, seats, cargo, and lighting systems. This is a horrible time to buy Goodrich and a good time to sell it, near its all time high of $77. The wheels are going to come off the economy and the commercial aerospace recovery and this will send both earnings and the multiple for GR and other suppliers lower.

We will always need to fly, narrow the gap between time and distance. Services are critical support.

Goodrich is a great company that is a leading international supplier of aerospace parts to every aspect of the aerospace industry whether it be military, commerical or private.

.Now it is trading about it's 52 week low sounds like a great pick at a very enticing price.

Great niche for Aviation industry.

Guaranteed that if you’re flying on a plane, you’re riding on some of Goodrich's components. There set to be around for a while, and shall do good in the commercial aircraft section regardless of whom does better, Airbus or Boeing.

Just because oil prices are high right now doesn't mean planes will be fallling out of the sky. People will still be flying because time is still valuable and Goodrich will reap the benefits. Should have plenty of upside to capitalize on future space and defense technology. The stock price might drop a bit in the short term, but it will likely always outperform the S&P with approximately 25-50% stock price growth in the near future.

This stock along with the rest of the defense sector is heading higher. Say hello to investors and money managers looking to survive a recession this summer by jumping into defense. Learn to follow the crowd (mutual funds and such)--it consistantly weathers better than navigating against the grain.

Another company that's been around for a very long time! They are a major player in two key areas: aviation and defense - neither of which is going anywhere in the immediate future! Another safe bet, in my opinion...

this company has been used since my grandmother was a baby(smile) an I think that it's endurance will be around a very long time for it is a very heavy commodity.It's used by many around the world.

Time for safety upgrades. Outdated aircraft, time replacement. Gas up need different equipment to keep pricing to consumer lower

They are a standard, they have a good reputation and longevity, as other people go for cheaper tires, the majority of car manufactorers and retail customers will by Goodrich products.
