A true international chemical company. Over sea market is growing fast such as china, latin america and middle east. This company will emerge out of bankrupcy within a year and soon will be a very attractive buying target for the big chemical companies such as DOW.

Always liked this company dosen't make a lot of news but it a good buy for long term. Having trouble with lawsuits that might distract it.

SELL YOUR STOCK!!!
They're not worthless claims, the company concealed information which caused the deaths of hundreds, and thousands more are sick AND DYING because of Grace's priority to make money above all else. A tragedy thats only now coming back to haunt them.
Google GRACE ABSESTOS LIBBY and see for yourself.
Sell your stock if your smart. Anyone who knows the details of this scandal (which Grace is finally having to face now in hearings) will want to see this company sink and pay for the deliberate homicides they commited.
What they did was inhumane, just because GRACE bought the media to ease the minds of stockholders doesn't mean they wont go down in flames.
SELL YOUR STOCK NOW!!!

Until court date (Feb.), risky. Whether verdict is $750M or $3B, they have the resources to take the hit... Then watch out.

I was pursuing a little research on the use of Zeolite and plastics. Zeolite has many uses, among which is its use in the miraculous "Green Bags" sold on TV. I'm having a little trouble discovering who exactly manufactures food storage products involving Zeolite, but I did find that GRA is involved in Zeolites, plastics and chemicals. I used to laugh at the OxyClean ads on late night TV, now everyone makes an Oxy cleanser. I'm wondering if the Zeolite thing will break into the general food storage business (Rubbermaid, etc). Soo, if GRA survives the asbestos lawsuits and people decide they want their plastic impregnated with Zeolite, maybe this company will be a good bet. It's also the only Zeolite company I could find that's publicly traded. I ran across a few mining operations that are public companies, but believe they are over the counter stocks or whatever it is I can't buy through my online stock account.
Zeolite may also attract some attention from the environmentalists. It's a great filter for water, heavy metal, toxic such and such, gets rid of pet odors - sort of a super baking soda. They even recommend using it as a dessicant in your refrigerator. Reducing the humidity in the fridge makes it more efficent and saves electricity. Now I'm way off topic.

I own shares, picked them up at $11.70 this growth puts a smile on my face. They are global, involved in booming markets, they survived the asbestos mess, I see it in the low 40's.

GRA - W.R. Grace, well, I cannot tell a lie. I like this one because of the name and because my x-father-in-law used to work for Dearborn Chemical, a subsid. But the reality is that all of the fundamentals are sound and they are global, able to weather the storm of the asbestos suits, I believe, and could be a 3-4 bagger by this time 4 years from now.
