These investors have been successful for a long time now with a strong and diverse portfolio. This stock is at a low and should do well in the coming months.

The 1929-1930 equity rally (coming out of The Great Depression) lasted 147 days and the market was up 46%. It has been the same amount of time since the March, 2009 low and we are up about the same percentage. It’s déjà vu (paramnesia), so… More

There is less momentum, less volume, and less buying going on. We are in the last part of this rally.

Red thumbed along with asset managers/I-banks/hedge funds/financial services CLMS, JMP, JNS, MXB, GBL, LAZ, BPSG, GLG, KBW, PJC and FBCM. Highly leveraged to the gigantic rally will mean highly leveraged to the coming correction.

GROW is overpriced compared to their earnings power. They have not been aggressive and effective enough in marketing their mutual funds. I believe a lot of the current runup is due to the false impression that they will benefit significantly from the relative strength of developing markets compared to developed markets. The balance sheet is solid enough but too small to provide support.
