Your time frame - A guideline for other members to see whether your thinking is short or long-term. Time frame is also used to calculate the stock rating, but is not used in the scoring of your pick.

Your pitch - Here's your chance to offer more detailed thoughts, analysis, concerns, or the rationale behind your call. The pitch is optional and may be added later.

Each time you rate a stock, CAPS updates the community intelligence for the company, which may or may not change its CAPS rating. For more information, visit the Help tab at the top of the page.

Gammon Gold's stock was punished recently from $10 down to $6 because their last quarter showed costs per ounce had risen. During the present market chaos, though, the company has come out with 2 compelling updates, one indicating that production is now finally starting to rise as anticipated, and ...More

As long as gold remains above $600 per ounce, this producer will generate enough in EBITDA to support cap ex and a growing dividend

People are still going to continue to hedge their bets with a shift to more solid futures. Gold being one of them and this one being far undervalued.

Trying a sector bet. Let's see if I picked the wrong time and/or sector. No guts, no glory.

Gammon has really turned around well from a difficult start as a producer. It is cash positive and is paying down debt as well as looking to expand its reserves through more drilling. It will do well in an environment of rising precious metal prices. Its costs should be contained by being located in Mexico.

Gold is undervalued. This Gold stock just came out of a lawsuit, and the settlement was lower than I expected. They increase their production and per-ounce cost of recovery every quarter. Good stuff. I see it at 15 in a year, perhaps 20.
