Just finished a bunch of research looking for dividend stocks for my portfolio. This is one of 8 I chose. Since I put my real money in to it, I figure it's the best indication that I should green thumb it here.

GTY is a solid performer that has just raised its dividend, again, with an ex- date of 22 September. It has outperformed the S&P over the past year already and since CAPS apparently does not factor in the dividends when calculating performance (a truly grave flaw, that), GTY's forward outperformance might not be relfected in CAPS, however, I'm adding it to my real world portfolio. the solid 8% yield will cushion against any fluctuations in share price.

At $16, GTY is valued at roughly $250,000 per property. Most of the properties were developed decades ago, at very low cost. IMO, Wall Street totally blew this one. If management is worth its salt, they'll mutually terminate leases, with significant leasehold value. This is a golden oppurtunity, and my best overall pick.
