While some of HAIN's brands & products are only posing as "green", others are legit, and either way are healthier and more natural than the mainstream. Thumbs Up.

Hain has some of the best known brands in organic foods and natural products. They've positioned themselves into "mainstream" grocery stores and out of the "natural" foods sections increasing sales. During the past year, Hain has worked hard to control input and distribution costs and consolidate or jetison non-performing brands.

The products look right and I think quality sells. The management seem to have their heads on right.

I think this is slightly overvalued but I know long term it will be a winner. A very diversified group of natural health companies, I use many of their products and it is hard to avoid some in the health food store.

With the growing concern over where your food comes from and what is in it. I believe this company will continue to grow. I gave my baby their Earth's Best baby food because it was certified organic and want to make sure my child was not getting any preservatives. Also, we used Tushies diapers, which was purchased recently by this company. They seem to be a very affordable natural diaper. This company does a lot more then baby stuff, but this has been my experience with their products. I beleive this company will outperform, especially since it seems to have weathered some tough times in the stock market of late.

Hain has accumulated many brands that are becoming a larger and larger part of consumer staples.

I expect slow growth after the last lull. They took a hit by having to repackage certain things to label them as 'supplements', but now that this is over I'm hoping to see them rebound.

This stock has been hurt lately amid the concerns over consumer spending (or lack thereof) in the near term. Also, they've struggled to increase margins over the last few years in spite of their premium product selection. Still, I believe demand for organic products will continue to grow, and Hain owns some of the stronger brands in the category. They just hired a new Marketing VP, too, so maybe that person will help them get moving.

Less certain about this one -- if management has their heart in this for the natural/healthy reasons, that may increase their odds of success. They need to add and develop brands with good business practices as well as authentic and genuine vision for healthy foods.

I love the moves management has been making over the past few months, and they're clearly paying off. YOY, the business produced 224% more cash flow. The balance sheet is getting stronger. Income is strongly growing. With its line-up of terrific brands and the picking up of growth, a P/E around 27 is not too high of a multiple to pay. Before, I was worried about the valuation, but management has proved itself to me: this company has strong brands and a heck of a lot more opportunity with the fast-growing organic market.

I am a devotedly crunchy granola organic shopper, and hain foods covers most of my weekly grocery list. Vegans and Vegetarians are gaining fast in future generations -- and Hain's quality stock products --rice dream, soy dream --are going to capitalize on that market.

I believe HAIN Celestial's growth will continue to accelerate into the foreseeable future and beat the S&P 500. They are nice and profitable yet valued rather highly in the market. I do not believe this to be a priced for perfection, pie in the sky valuation, but one that shows people expect this company to do well. I cannot see why it won't, so I'm going green on this. It's my belief their product is going more and more mainstream than ever before. Companies such as Whole Foods Market have done quite well selling these wares and are expected to extend this trend for many years to come. Others have caught on as well. Safeway, Kroger, Supervalues Inc. and Wal-Mart are all ramping up the means to sell such items, and HAIN seems well positioned to take advantage of this. It's doubtful people will abandon the movement towards this lifestyle since health isn't a fad. It's something people care about deeply. They've almost doubled sales from 2002 to 2006 while more than doubling cash flow from operations (FY06 ending 6/30/06). I like the direction they're going in.
