Has a strong position in soft and energy drinks. A good candidate for takeover.

I have been addicted to energy drinks for about a year now. Bottom line the best tasting: Monster and Lost, both Hansen. I see no reason for the stock to go up again. Coffee's out, taurine and B vitamins are in.

They offer what we're looking for, if we're paying attention to what's in our food. Think they'll continue to do well.

The company has great Balance Sheet. Their projected growth over the next couple of years looks fantastic. Better than its industry peers. Analyst's expectations have driven the price down. They may have fallen a little short of what was expected, but I’m satisfied that there brands still have room to grow. This market over-reaction has created a real bargain in HANS.

Nice drop today

HANS has a product which is hip in California and will consequently see increased sales in the rest of the country.

Monster energy drink

This is the peak. People aren't stupid they know when companies are selling drugs legally.

Hansen still has plenty of energy to continue its strong performance and growth for at least this year.

Hanson Natural has the best selling Monster drink and recently signed a distribution agreement with Annheiser Busch. It seems to me that a major soft drink company or Annheiser Busch would acquire them.

This midcap is an organic beverage producer. Their product is tasty, and the margins are good for the industry and the size of their operation. They've had a wild run so far, but I think that there is still plenty of room to grow in this niche, which is seems to be ready to become a mainstream trend.

I have followed Hansen's for years now but only in the last year found an acceptable entry point. I would hold on until the next earnings release unless the stock price went much over $80 - $90 range. That is just my own margin of safety. I am a rather conservative investor. But Hansen seems to have a continued strong growth trajectory for the coming years.

People will never get away from energy drinks. With all my friends around me drinking Monster all the time you just have to wonder if it will do bad.
Another plus thing is that they are growing more internationaly. With all that is going on with them and if what happens is as planned Hanson could be a great choice for the year or two to come.

Hansen Natural Corp (HANS) $28.50
Develops, markets, sells & distributes alternative beverage category natural sodas, fruit juices, energy drinks, fruit juice smoothies & functional drinks, non-carbonated iced teas, lemonades, juice cocktails & children's multi-vitamin juice drinks.
Hansen Natural reported record sales and profits for the first quarter of 2008. Despite the recent slowdown in the economy, energy drink sales have shown good growth, with Hansen Natural's Monster Energy drink being no exception. Net sales for the first quarter increased 27.9 percent to $212.2 million from $165.9 million a year ago. Net income for the 2008 first quarter increased 42.6 percent to $28.8 million, compared with $20.2 million for the first quarter last year. They recently launched their Monster Energy drink in Britain, where CEO Rodney C. Sacks notes that reception there is "proceeding according to plan". Furthermore, Southwest Airlines just became the first major airline to offer an energy drink (Monster) to U.S. travelers.
Nobody can deny that although missing analysts' expectations, Hansen Natural has plenty of room for growth, and a healthy p/e ratio to match it , and now is a great time to buy, as it is trading at its 52 week low and a cheap price.

Has dropped to much on "dissapointing" earnings...only up 70% year over year and missed expections by a whooping 2 cents!! Hardly reason to punish this long term grower with a huge drop.
I already bought it last time it "dissapointed" and I'm up 50% including today's plunge....adding to caps to get some easy points.
