reminds of marvel

Good company that grows its dividend. Has a reasonable moat (toy brands). Its products help children and adult learn as well as enjoy themselves (think Monopoly).
I own the company and invest in it through its fee-free dividend reinvestment plan.

p/e 12.78, lots of growth levers with movies, toys, etc. I just had mvl bought out -- time to build a HAS position, wait 10 years, and cash out at a 1000% gain. That is my plan.

HAS-got to take a chance on this stock as i broaden my portfolio. as i have stolled down the toy aisles of walmart, toy r us-i do this as my wife shops for other things-i notice kids & adults grabbing the transformer figurines & the empty (sold out transformer) racks i realize that this could be the next MARVEL. worldwide transformer was huge & i have to imagine the kids/adults worldwide are just the same as the kids/adults here. so as the rest of the world starts to recover economically a little more quickly than our country i am going to take a chance on hasbro. a little worried about its debt, but heck alot of companies are in a worse situation & hasbro seems to have a good plan for the next 3/5 year. buy & hold for 3/5 year recommendation here.

This account tracks the less exciting stocks from my watch list - companies that are easy to understand with clean balance sheets and good track records in relatively straight-forward industries.

With economy slowing turning around and Christmas right around the corner, I believe this stock will increase in value. Also with the release of new movies with Hasbro having the rights to produce the toys this is a stock to have.

I recently purchased this stock. I'm excited to see how the partnerships with Disney and Marvel pan out over the next few years. Plus it's holiday shopping time!!!

toys, games, toys and a yield.

Lots of possibilities. 5% pull back. Seems like a bargain at 13-14 x earnings.

I like Hasbro's breath of intellectual property and the use of movies and technology to leverage it. Looking for a replacement for Marvel in my portfolio and Disney is not it. Hasbro has potential. Plus I love Risk, Monopoly and Transformers. Autobots roll out!

my ouija board told me to buy hasbro. is that insider trading ?

Entertainment will always be needed. Good mix of tradition and innovation. Proven management after turnaround.

Finally into the big movie business. Toys will never go out of style.

Good cashflow, well managed equity and strong brands

It's one of David's picks and he's the Warren Buffet equivelent on Motley Fool. Aside from that I like the trend their line of toys has taken in going to the movies.

Transformers and GI Joe are making the way into Hollywood. A great company with some great names.

Has always and will continue to outperform the S&P 500. A solid reputation children's toy manufacturer with good standing financials and low P/E ratio. This company will see steady gains but with long-term value.
Recs
Their intellectual property will reap giant profits at the box office, and this will in turn enhance sales of the toys associated with the properties. It's just a matter of time...

big franchises and a category killer!
